Hartbrook Cafe in Hartland

So disappointed. We have come here for years and someone who came in after us got their food first. No apologies. We waited over 45 minutes. Not sure when we will come back.

Annual breakfast with a friend. Decent food, what you would expect for a place like this. A little pricey.

Very crowded today and they were shorthanded. We were informed as soon as we arrived. We were seated and given coffee immediately. Waitstaff was very friendly and kept us informed of status and kept coffee cup full. Food was good and reasonably priced. We will return.

Favorite breakfast place in town, and I've tried many. Portions are large and cooked to order. Coffee could be better, but still worth the trip overall.

Hartbrook Cafe is a nice place to stop and get breakfast if your in Hartland. The wait can be long to get your food but it's worth it. Been here many times. Always good.

Worst cafe in the lake country. You know when regular customers come in after you and leave before you that its all in who you know. Breakfast was horrible. Eggs undercooked. Hashbrowns raw and not hashbrowns. Toast was burnt. Service was a joke. Please take warning. Better yet look at their inspection violations. Hair in food. Dirty kitchen violation. This place is filthy.

Love this diner!! Homey atmosphere with tables from other eras and great home made food and specials every day. Reasonable prices make it equal to dining here vs cooking at home!! Very friendly staff always checking if you need more coffee, water or anything else.

The service is great but don’t expect your eggs to be cooked all the way in your omelette. This has happened to me the past several times I went here and I asked them to cook it more and it still wasn’t done. I used to love this place :(

Breakfast and lunch hours daily. Delicious "comfort food" menu with generous portions at reasonable prices. Smiling faces abound.

Been eating there for almost 30 years. Never got a bad meals there. The food is great and the specials are wonderful.Service is also super. You should avoid too close to NOON as it is very crowded due to the great food.

An excellent homestyle diner/restaurant. You will get more food than you can possibly eat, for a great price. The hash browns are amazing, and enough to share!

Loved my tuna melt. Ginormous portions. I carried out more than I was able to eat. My husband enjoyed his breakfast as well. Super friendly and fast service. We will be back.

Best omlet I have ever had, great customer service

I have been there on 2 occasions for breakfast and both were horrible. American fries were lightly brown on one side and not cooked on the other. They just wanted to slide across the plate. I got a gift certificate from a friend and went there for lunch. That was much better. Burger was really good and you got a big pile of fries. My friend got a big pile of onion rings. You had a choice of fries or onion rings. Place looks really dirty inside. Tables were sticky from breakfast and the bathrooms were horrible. I also didn't like regulars going behind the counter and getting their own coffee.

Good food if you're not in a hurry

Used to be my go to ever since I was a little boy. But now that im in my 30s I feel this place has never been cleaned since. The food has also really gone down hill. Eggs/omelets are never cooked fully. They seem to gear alot of their "good service" to the elderly locals. Be prepared to wait a long time for anything. Very disappointed.

Please don't waste your time or money. The place caters to the regular customers. The food is below grade. The carpet in the place is filthy and you stick to it. The bathroom garbage is overflowing. Service was beyond slow. There are many other clean cafes and restaurants to go to. Beware.

Best Hash Browns ever. Cooked in Butter make all the difference. Flavor is out of this world....You must try them.
